Exo Terra's Full Moon was created to simulate natural moonlight in your terrarium. The full moon mimics a moonlight glow enabling you to observe your animals at night without disturbing their natural behavior. It gives crepuscular and nocturnal animals a faint moonlight which enables them to navigate their territory in search of insects mating partners etc... In total darkness these animals would be completely disoriented. Equipped with a light sensor the full moon lights up automatically after the terrarium light is turned off. The surface of the full moon is full of craters to give it a realistic moon-like appearance. The low heat emission from the Full Moon allows a natural temperature drop at night inside the terrarium.
