Their haunting appearance clad in black armor resembles that of the Grim Reaper. The Nazgûl feared lieutenants in Sauron's army include the Witch-king of Angmar the most lethal of all. In Peter Jackson's film adaptation all nine Nazgûl are seen as they hunt Frodo and Arwen.
