The graphics cards of the GeForce RTX 4000 series from NVIDIA use a new 16-pin connector (12+4-pin) with PCIe 5.0 standard for power supply. This connector is also referred to as the 12VHPWR connector. CableMod offers a 12VHPWR PCIe 5.0 adapter with the Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR to 3x PCI-e cables designed for power supplies without a native 12VHPWR connector. The CableMod Pro ModMesh 12VHPWR to 3x PCI-e extension features high-quality ModMesh sleeving. This cable is made of 16AWG wires and is equipped with five pre-installed closed cable combs. Important notes: For the 16-pin 12VHPWR to 3x 8-PCIe cable to function correctly all 8-pin connectors must be connected to the power supply. The distance between the graphics card connector and the side panel must be at least 4 to 4.5 cm. Additionally the cable should only be bent 35 mm away from the connector on the GPU. Finally ensure that the 12+4-pin connector is fully and securely inserted into the socket on the graphics card.
