The OXO Fat Separator helps you separate the fat from the stock. Pour your stock through the strainer into the fat separator. The separator has a heat-resistant strainer that catches unwanted vegetable cubes or pieces of meat and cleans the stock. In a short time the fat rises to the top while the stock settles to the bottom. Remove the stopper in the pouring spout and pour off the stock leaving the fat in the fat separator.
