Nighty Night Owl has a built-in sensor that detects if the child wakes up at night. To put the baby back to sleep Nighty Night Owl starts playing a soothing sound that reassures the baby and helps him fall asleep again. You can choose between the sounds: Mother's heartbeat Spring showers Ocean surf Whale songs The volume can be set to 3 different levels depending on what suits the child. When activated it always restarts at the last selected volume and volume level. Turns itself off after 23 or 45 minutes. 2 AA batteries (not included).
