This precision-ground drill head made of HSS (high-speed steel) provides up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower clamping pressure than standard ground HSS cutting edge drill heads. This drill head is designed for drilling holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel cast steel cast iron sintered iron reduced cast iron non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The ground HSS spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338. The type N (notch angle) of the borehead has a 135-degree point and a diameter tolerance of h8.
