The ground HSS spiral drill bit for drilling through metal with maximum precision. The exposed 135-degree split self-centering point of the drill head combines active cutting with perfect centering without displacement for maximum precision. With the split tip it is also unnecessary to mark center points in advance or pilot drill up to 10 mm. This precision-ground drill head made of HSS (high-speed steel) provides up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower clamping pressure than standard ground HSS cutting edge drill heads. This drill head is designed for drilling holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel cast steel cast iron sintered iron reduced cast iron non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The ground HSS spiral drill bit is manufactured according to DIN 338. The type N (notch angle) of the bit has a 135-degree point and a diameter tolerance of h8.
