This precision-ground drill head made of HSS (high-speed steel) provides up to 40% faster drilling and up to 50% lower clamping pressure than standard ground HSS drill heads with cutting edges. This drill head is designed for drilling holes in alloyed and non-alloyed steel cast steel cast iron sintered iron reduced cast iron non-ferrous metals and hard plastic. The ground HSS spiral drill head is manufactured according to DIN 338. The drill head is of type N (notched angle) with a 135-degree tip and a diameter tolerance of h8.
