The cup steel brush provides a good rough surface finish. It is equipped with braided wire for demanding cleaning tasks on small surfaces. The cup steel brush is suitable for use on steel and is ideal for cleaning welds. It can be used to clean surfaces edges and grooves at high peripheral speeds. It is also suitable for removing heavy rust slag and scale deburring and sanding paint. The bristles are available in different thicknesses depending on how strong the abrasive effect needs to be. Thicker wires are more aggressive and provide a coarser but faster surface finish while thinner wires provide finer smoother surface results. It is designed for use with 6mm shank drills.
