The Expert for Wood Straight Bit Solid Carbide is designed for long life and intense daily use to achieve splinter-free cuts. The drill head is milled and ground internally based on hardened extra hard Microteq carbide for durability and high performance when used on wood. In addition it has a protective coating that protects it from friction buildup rust and height that extends the drill head's outstanding cutting life. The drill head is made using computer-controlled balancing to give it high centricity with perfect rotational symmetry for precise smooth cuts. It is intended for milling small and very precise grooves in soft and hard solid wood and composite wood as well as in special materials such as solid surfaces. They are particularly suitable for milling narrow grooves e.g. for notching and jointing. Expert For Wood straight router bits have a special clearance angle that makes plunge cutting easy to perform. It is suitable for use with handheld table-mounted portable routers machines or CNCs.
