The hexagonal graphite pencil LYRA Rembrandt Art Design is characterised by high breaking strength and constant hardness. Pure graphite and natural binders are the precious ingredients of LYRA Rembrandt Art Design. The perfect milling of the graphite enables a defined fast and smooth stroke. As a professional drawing utensil Rembrandt Art Design is available in 17 gradations to obtain blacks with exceptional depth and delicate greys. The softer gradations highlight the natural brightness of the graphite. The compactness of the cores makes it possible to obtain perfect and well-defined points. LYRA Rembrandt Art Design pencils are made from PEFC certified cedar wood. This ensures sustainable forest management. With a diameter of 6.9 mm the hexagonal graphite pencils fit comfortably in the hand making sketches drawings or illustrations effortless to realise. The graphite pencil which is made in Germany is particularly suitable for sophisticated requirements in the fields of graphics design art and architecture. The pencils are easy to sharpen and break-resistant. Fine grain and satin finish papers are ideal substrates. For particular grainy effects with the softer gradations coarse grain papers can also be used. Paper with fine grain facilitates the creation of defined gradations and the execution of details.
