Das FE 16-35 mm f 2.8 GM-Objektiv von Sony ist ein schneller und flexibler Weitwinkel-Zoom und wurde für spiegellose Vollformatkameras mit E-Anschluss-Objektiv entwickelt. Dieses Objektiv zeichnet sich durch seine konstante maximale Blendenöffnung von f 2.8 aus und bietet über den gesamten Zoombereich hinweg gleichbleibende Leistung sowie Vorteile bei schlechten Lichtverhältnissen. Das optische Design umfasst zwei Elemente mit extra-niedriger Dispersion zur Reduzierung chromatischer Aberrationen sowie zwei XA-Elemente und drei asphärische Elemente die sphärische Aberrationen für ein hohes Maß an Bildschärfe und Klarheit deutlich minimieren. Darüber hinaus wurde eine Nano-AR-Beschichtung aufgetragen um Geisterbilder und Streulicht zu reduzieren und so einen höheren Kontrast und Farbtreue bei intensiven Lichtverhältnissen zu erreichen. The lens was dropped at some point and this has caused the electronics to stop working properly. The lens will not be recognized by the camera in most situations and even when it gets read the aperture will not work and focusing is impossible. The lens mount is also slightly warped as a result of the fall and a filter is stuck on the item. For all of these reasons the item is being sold as spares and repairs.
