The aperture mechanism is faulty and the aperture often Jams in place. This can sometimes produce an Error 01 and results in incorrectly exposed pictures. This can also affect the capabilty to AF this mostly happens if the aperture gets stuck at a high value. There is unfortunately the chance that this issue worsens and the lens ends up permanently stuck in a given aperture too. For these reasons the item is being sold as spares and repairs.
