Instantly recognizable by their black masks raccoons are bandits in many ways. Their silver-grey fur is speckled with black and makes great nocturnal camouflage for this nocturnal omnivore. Raccoons vary greatly in size. They can range in weight from 2 kilograms to 10 kilograms although specimens weighing up to 20 kilograms are also rumored.
