An Oryx is a type of antelope. There are four types of oryx. One species has become extinct in the wild due to extensive hunting but few animals still live in captivity (such as in a zoo). Oryx is found in eastern and southern parts of Africa in Oman and Jordan. They live in dry arid or semi-arid areas such as deserts savannas and steppes. Dimensions: 12 x 3 x 12 centimeters.
