The waffle bottom frying pan has a unique pattern that helps prevent food from burning. The waffle bottom surface keeps the fat distributed under the food and provides a natural non-stick property. We recommend heating the pan to medium heat when fat has been added. Then turn up the temperature slightly place the food on the pan and adjust to the desired cooking temperature. As soon as a browning has formed the food can be moved around the pan and turned.
