A blind rivet is a fastener used to fasten two or more materials when access to the back of the workpiece is limited. Blind rivets consist of a hollow metal rod that is inserted into the pre-drilled hole in the materials to be fastened. A blind riveter is then inserted which pulls the eyebolt through the materials to be fastened and spreads the eyebolt to create a permanent connection.
