Fixing salt that makes the colour last when you give new life to old clothes. Use fixing salt in your dyeing projects to prevent the colour from rubbing off in the wash. You can use the salt in a dye bath or directly in the washing machine. To make the dye bath dissolve 1 kg of fine kitchen salt in 2 litres of hot water. Add another 4 litres of water (30-60 degrees) 100 ml of liquid batik dye and 200 grams of fixing salt - stir and the dye bath is ready. Now put the cotton fabrics in the dye bath - and rinse them in several batches of water until the water runs clear. Finally wash in a washing machine at 30-60 degrees.
