As long as you follow certain precautions our stoneware and porcelain are dishwasher microwave oven and freezer safe. However never put ordinary stoneware and porcelain into a preheated oven and also avoid putting hot stoneware and porcelain directly onto a cold worktop. Large temperature differences can cause porcelain and stoneware to crack and break. It must therefore be heated carefully and cooled down slowly.
