Free-standing figure beast of light wood easily decorated with Plus Color craft paint and similar. Depending on the decoration the wooden animal can be lightly sanded with sandpaper beforehand. The opaque Plus Color hobby paint which is available in a wide range of colours is ideal for painting the figure. The paint is also available in a marker version which is great for small details on the figure's dry surface. If you want a stained look Plus Color can be diluted with water - in which case a subsequent varnishing of the surface with a water-based acrylic varnish is recommended. The stained look can be combined with lines and patterns made with an electric burner before painting with the thinned paint.
