The Extreme Warmer has a thermal tricot hood that can be raised to warm the ears and head. The jacket protects the muscles most needed for heat production as well as the neck abdomen and chest. The comfortably soft slightly flexible material does not restrict mobility even on a sensitive dog. The belly of the jacket is sized to cover the belly which is sensitive to cold as well as possible. The effective 3M reflective and the large reflective prints on the jacket improve the dog's visibility in the dark. The renewed Extreme Warmer has added some details that improve its usability from before: The adjustable length on the back as well as the adjustable section in the hood are inconspicuously located on the inside of the jacket. The back edge has added snap fasteners allowing the protective back edge to be folded under the jacket. The jacket has also been renewed with a softer thicker type of cotton.
