The Vertical Mounting Plate features a built in cold shoe 1 4?-20 and 3 8?-16 threads for mounting wireless video transmitters on-board monitors external microphones and other accessories while shooting in a standard horizontal configuration. This plate can also be used in conjunction with the Quick Release Baseplate for Sony FX6 in order to mount the camera in a vertical configuration.
