For laptops with DP 1.2 it supports single display resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 30 Hz and dual displays up to 1920 x 1080 at 60 Hz. For laptops with DP 1.4 it enhances single display resolutions up to 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz and dual displays up to 2560 x 1440 at 60 Hz. Additionally for laptops with DP 1.4 DSC it offers even higher resolutions including single display options up to 7680 x 4320 at 30 Hz or 3840 x 2160 at 120 Hz and dual display setups at 3840 x 2160 at 60 Hz. DisplayPort over USB-C requires that your device supports DisplayPort Alt Mode. For extended screens MST support is required otherwise you get 2 screens in mirror mode.
