Breakout Beyond flips the legendary series on its head - or rather its side. Play horizontally and break through bricks in each puzzle to make your way through to the final goal at the end. Hit special blocks to earn an edge with power-ups like large brick-breaking blasts a forcefield that saves your ball and a laser cannon that clears a path. Longer play racks up a combo and increases the intensity of the effects creating a spectacular light show. Each level will push your skills to the limit but you won’t be without help. A focus mode allows you to slow down time at the expense of your score. Or if you want company in the chaos tag in a friend to play through the entire game in local two-player co-op.
