Mr. Jack is an excellent multiplayer game set in 19th century London. One of the players is a police officer trying to catch the notorious Jack the Ripper. The other is trying to stop Jack from being caught.There are 8 characters on the board one of which is Jack. The police are trying to find out which one is Jack in order to catch him. The side playing Jack will try to make the police's job as difficult as possible and in the best case make Jack escape from the game area. Either player can move all eight characters and at the end of each turn the Jack the Ripper player reveals whether another character can see Jack or whether he is hiding.This allows the police to narrow down the suspects. Eventually Jack will inevitably be caught... But with only eight rounds to go Jack the Ripper can end the game early by fleeing the city.The challenges for each player are quite different. This asymmetry keeps the game fresh for a long time. For those looking for a different kind of multiplayer experience Mr. Jack is an excellent choice.
