This is a special version of Manfrotto's 055CXPRO3 Carbon fibre specially dedicated to birdwatchers. The difference is that the center column is not pivotable to horizontal position and it is shortened to 25 cm. At the same time there has been a lower hook on the center column suitable for weigh down the stand with for example a bag in windy conditions The legs of the 055BDWCF stand are quick to raise and adjust thanks to the Quick Power Lock levers which locks and releases each leg section. The special design of the QPL levels provides the opportunity to open and lock all gangbars in an action. QPL lever design also offers more powerful locking of each section which means that the stand is more stable and rigid than with traditional leg lock. Intuitive and ergonomic leg angle selector allows each leg to be independently and stable adjusted to any of the preset angles allowing for high positioning freedom. The stand's spindle has an Easy Link jack for connecting accessories like a Magic Arm.
