Unter Verwendung numerischer Methoden wurde die Rußbildung in einer laminaren und in einer turbulenten Diffusionsflamme sowie die Bildung von Eisenoxid-Nanopartikeln in einer mit Eisenpentacarbonyl dotierten laminaren H2 O2 Ar-Vormischflamme untersucht. Die jeweilige Vorgehensweise bei der Simulation wird beschrieben. Im Fall der turbulenten Flamme wird der Einfluss der turbulenten Schließung der einzelnen Partikelquellterme auf die Partikelgrößenverteilung gezeigt. Soot formation in a laminar and a turbulent diffusion flame as well as the formation of iron oxide nanoparticles in an iron pentacarbonyl doped near stoichiometric H2 O2 Ar-premixed flame have been investigated numerically. The particular modus operandi of the simulated test cases is described. In the case of the turbulent flame the impact of the turbulent closure of the single particle source terms on particle size distribution is shown.
