People sharing a common origin who live across various countries are the definition of living transnationality. As diaspora communities they form a global network. Highlighted photographically interdisciplinary scientific and cultural contributions are concentrating the contents of two WIKA workshops based on following questions: how could diaspora communities work as mediator? What are their challenges? What are potentials and risks for the foreign cultural policy?
