Christina B. Hanhardt (lives and works in New York) is Associate Professor in the Department of American Studies. Her research focuses on the historical and contemporary study of U.S. social movements and cities since the mid-20th century with an emphasis on the politics of stigma punishment and uneven development. Christina B. Hanhardt (lebt und arbeitet in New York) ist Professorin für Amerikastudien. In ihrer Forschung konzentriert sie sich auf die historische und zeitgenössische Untersuchung sozialer Bewegungen und Stadtentwicklung in den USA seit Mitte des 20. Jahrhunderts mit dem Schwerpunkt auf Politiken der Stigmatisierung Bestrafung und gesellschaftlicher Unterdrückung.
