This book highlights various solutions for the required transition of coastal cities due to +1m sea level rise. The current understanding is that infrastructure buildings industry and communities have to be protected by engineering-based solutions or cities have to retreat. The book adds two more solutions where cities can advance onto the water or can accommodate.
