The Retro Fighters Defender Pro is a modern wireless gamepad designed for players who want a versatile and powerful controller with a retro-inspired design combined with today’s technology. It is built to deliver comfortable ergonomics responsive analog control and precise vibration feedback ensuring a high-quality gaming experience whether you are playing classic titles or modern games. The controller is designed for broad compatibility and works with PlayStation 1 PlayStation 2 PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Classic as well as modern platforms such as PC Steam Deck Nintendo Switch and MiSTer FPGA. This makes it a flexible solution across a wide range of gaming systems. Defender Pro supports both 2.4 GHz wireless and Bluetooth connections offering stable performance and freedom from cables with a wireless range of over 30 feet (approximately 9 meters). It delivers low latency with a fast 1000 Hz polling rate ensuring quick and accurate input response. The analog sticks use Hall Effect technology to eliminate stick drift and feature anti-friction rings for smoother movement. The triggers can be switched between analog and digital modes and the controller includes improved R2 L2 sensitivity along with an upgraded D-pad for more precise directional control. In addition the Defender Pro features programmable rear buttons and pressure-sensitive buttons allowing players to customize the controller to suit their playstyle. It also includes SixAxis motion control support for PlayStation 3 games.
