Maeco's Arete dehumidifier comes with a medical grade H13 HEPA filter that can be easily inserted into the unit to turn it into an air purifier. You can use this as much or as little as you like - the filter does not need to be in the unit all the time. If you always want cleaner and fresher air in your home this filter must be replaced approximately every three months. Meacos offers here a package of 3 replacement filters H13 HEPA for your Arete 12L or 10L. Things to note! Using the HEPA filter will increase noise levels and reduce water extraction efficiency slightly but this is the trade-off for cleaner air. H13 HEPA filters cannot be recycled due to the nature of the product.
