The Heiman HM-5HW is a wireless interlinked heat detector that warns of sudden temperature rises with a loud 85 dB alarm audible up to about 3 metres. It monitors ambient temperature across a wide range (?10°C to +50°C) and triggers when temperatures rapidly climb into the 54-65°C window making it especially useful where smoke detectors are less effective. The unit can link with up to 40 other compatible alarms so a single event notifies the whole system. Durable ABS housing resists moisture and corrosion. Installation is simple (no hardwiring) and the alarm can be silenced remotely. Supplied: heat sensor screws plugs and user manual.
