Building a ship costs wood and wool. Ships are placed as streets on the border between 2 sea tiles. You can sail along the coast but also on the open sea. Your goal: to discover new islands. 'Through the desert' you get to 'the forgotten tribe' and trade fabrics in 'Clothing for Catan'. If you successfully defend Catan in 'The Pirate Islands' you can build 'the wonders of Catan'. After that you have endless possibilities to let your creativity run wild in 'the New World'. Do you hear the rustling of the wind as in the sails? Your ship is waiting get on board quickly! This expansion is not a standalone game. To use it you need the basic game 'Catan' (art. 2030157). This expansion is only playable in combination with games from the new Catan edition.
