The aim of this book is to reconstruct the history and the religious life in Phrygia from the Bronze Age up to the Late Antiquity period. The documentary [archaeological evidence inscriptions coins e.g.] and literary sources show that sacred ideas and rituals which already existed in the Bronze Age have continued to exist as a substrate over the centuries until the spread of Christianity.
