The Vitamix Ascent Low Profile pitcher is obvious when you need to make large portions of your favorite smoothie soup or something completely different. The jug has Interlock which means that the blender recognizes the jug when it is put on. The blender sets its programs according to the jug that is on. In addition the jug and blender also detect whether the lid has been put on correctly - the blender cannot start before. The pitcher is made of 100% BPA-free plastic and can blend everything from icy desserts to scalding hot soups. This jug comes with your Vitamix Ascent but is perfect if you want a new jug over time. NOTE: This jug only fits the models A3500i A2500i and A2300i.
